Great service from providing quote based on our needs till installation. Technician who came for intial visit provided good details about do’s & don’t when selecting the door. It was very helpful.
Regular updates were provided regarding installation appointment. Installation was done quickly & efficiently.

We've read a lot of great reviews for My Security Door so I am quite disappointed with the level of care in the work unfortunately.
Our initial interactions with the customer service & sales was great, regardless of the fact that there was such a long wait for every step of the process (even for our initial home visit).
I have in the meantime reached out to the sales team on the 31 May 2025, however I haven't heard back from them at all.
These include but are not limited to:
- the side panel being taller than the actual door
not one person throughout this whole process pointed out the fact that the side panel will be taller. Given that the sales person was not able to match the colour 100%, it stands out
the installation was rushed and poorly done, including scratches being left - especially on the side panel (not just pencil marks)
the black screws used really stand out and due to the lack of care they look really messy; again not one person pointed this out to us
- The person that came by to do the installation was lovely, however again, it felt very rushed. Given that your products are not cheap and highly valued, we are frankly quite disappointed.
At this stage, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. You would be paying premium prices for below average care and attention to detail.

I love my new Crimsafe door and it was an absolute pleasure dealing with My Security Door, Mt Duneed. The whole process was so easy and very professional. The door itself is of very good quality. I couldn’t be happier!
Very happy with the service. The initial appointment for a quote was great, everything was explained clearly. On the day of installation the team member arrived on time, was very professional, cleaned any mess that was made.

Price is good, although service is terrible. Cancelled the booking at 6:30am the morning of, install not till the next day. Was a quick process, although front door screen jams, called for a technician have to wait over 3 weeks to even get someone out to look at it.
From the moment we entered the showroom we were greeted by Karen who with her expertise and professionalism we were able to select the door we were looking for. The entire experience was memorable and satisfying. I would highly recommend this esteemed company to anyone looking for quality and service at its best. The young lad who installed the door was an expert and did the job efficiently and was very pleasant. Thank you for making me a very happy and satisfied customer.

We took the “if it’s not CrimSafe, it’s not CrimSafe” advice that we always hear on TV (great marketing!) and went to the CrimSafe website to find our local installer. We were directed to My Security Door Werribee. I emailed to enquire and received a call from Cindy who was very helpful in explaining the different solutions for our needs and made recommendations to help us choose.
We then had Michael come out for a measure and discuss the process. He even explained the process for us to use the same keys as our other doors which I was really happy about.
On install day we had Toki who was really friendly come and install our doors. He worked really efficiently and was very respectful as we were navigating a newborn at the time. Toki identified a few minor issues with some of the parts he was given to install and explained that someone will come later to install these. I really appreciated that he made sure that we received the best quality install and didn’t just proceed with something that wasn’t 100%. Toki also gave us a bit of a rundown on how the security locks work which was helpful to understand.
About a week later, Dean came to finish the install. Dean was also very friendly and respectful. The install has now been completed and we are really happy that we have more airflow in the house without a compromise to our security. The doors operate really smoothly with great visibility through the screens.
I really appreciated how MySecurityDoor gave you a heads up text message when the installer was a few mins away and kept in contact with us throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend MySecurityDoor to anyone looking at getting quality screen doors installed as we found the service to be very consistently friendly throughout the whole enquiry, selection and install process. Very happy thank you!

MSD were recommended to me by a colleague. When I contacted them to replace my existing old doors, they responded very quickly and attended the house for a measure and quote. The quote was in my opinion reasonable, and so I ordered the doors.
On the day of installation Toki came to the house to commence the work.
He was fantastic. He had two quite difficult old sliding door frames to take out, which he did whilst paying particular attention to not damaging any surrounding brickwork. He worked hard to replace those sliding doors together with three standard doors around the house.
Toki was a lovely guy to talk to throughout the process, cleaned everything thoroughly before he left, and quite honestly, went above and beyond.
He represented My Security Door with great professionalism, and is a credit to himself and the business.

I would happily recommend MSD for a well-priced, good-looking, high quality screen door. The door is excellent and the process from consultation to quote to installation was handled professionally.

Really good experience and I’m very happy with the finished product. The door looks sleek and is very secure. The installers were quick and very polite. My only comment is they gave me a 5 pin lock barrel and my key is a 6 pin key. I didn’t find this out until I was at the locksmith getting it keyed. I think if you’re in the business of security doors you should offer both kinds of lock barrel to your customers. Otherwise, very happy.
Have had MSD install twice now. On both occasions the service was prompt, reliable and courteous. I’m not big on posting reviews generally but am happy to make an exception in this case. You’ll not be disappointed asking Dean and his team for assistance.

Dealing with head office via email was poor and frustrating (several emails not responded too or significantly delayed) as was communication regarding appointment times. Felt dismissed and that they did not care about styffing up other people’s calendars at the last minute.

Had a great experience with My Security Door in Hawthorn East, as I live in an apartment complex I had to first get permission to install a security door and it had to be a specific colour,MSD were happy to wait and once I had the go ahead they advised me what process the door was at right up until installation, Levi & partner were both very nice people. Would definitely recommend My Security Door, I love my new door. Easy to see out but not so easy to see in
Quality of doors excellent...but..and I mean but...initial measurements were appalling. The company needs to listen carefully about customers wishes..design.

MSD provided an excellent service. Accurate measurements and installation meant that both my new sliding door and front door security doors fitted first time. They let in so much more light and air than my older style ones. Very happy.

Great installation by contractor but he used a blower to clean up with left all of the aluminium shavings spread over our papers. Suggest vacuuming in the future

I found CrimSafe doors online and visited the MSD shop in Clyde North to view the doors in person. I lost the business card when we were ready to order, but called 1300 025 025 and easily scheduled to have our doors measured and we placed the order. The doors were ready two weeks earlier than expected (score!) and scheduling installation was as smooth as scheduling measurements.

My security doors, front and back, are fantastic! My back door has a doggie door for my puppy. He can enter and leave any time, with me feeling very secure, as the door is locked. I am very, very happy. Thank you, My Security Door Clyde North, for the wonderfully strong doors.
It has been most wonderful experience working with Mitch. He helped us as trusted advisor to install crimsafe doors and very accommodating for multiple requests. He also made sure after installation we're happy and resolve if any issues. I won't hesitate to give him 7 stars!

Approximately a month ago I purchased the Ultimate Security Door through your company, the installer who came on the day gave me the impression that he would rather be anywhere else in the world than here doing his job....
I proceeded to ask a basic question "do you know if that is the ultimate door" his response was "I don't know" considering this door is costing over $1k+ I would have imagined he would be aware that what was being installed was the correct door and matched what I had been quoted for...
He then began removing my old security door, placed it to the side and proceeded to throw the old screws from the old door in my garden!!!
CCTV footage of this was sent to My Security Door as evidence...(I didn't notice this at the time of installation)....
I had some further questions regarding the use of the locking mechanism as his response to this was "to google it"....(he also left all the rubbish behind which wasn't the be all and end all but speaking with management they advised it should be taken back with the installer)....
I have given a 2 star review as the quality of the door I am satisfied with however the customer service both from the installer and the office have been quite poor and subpar to say the least...
I disputed the invoice with the office and it took over a month to be resolved, this did not stop them from sending me harassing text messages and constant invoice emails even though management knew it was in dispute...
Overall a 2 star review is what I believe to be a fair review....

Doors are amazing. A bit disappointed they mis-measured and need to come back two weeks later. When I rang to reorganise, I felt the lady (don’t know her name) was annoyed because of tone and attitude. Also just told me (not ask) the date they would return. Not an apology nor friendly. Very helpful and knowledgeable team, great advice on crimsafe door types and colours, so glad we opted for the white frame for our front door from their advice. However we were disappointed with the lack of communication on the progress of our order. We were promised they would be ready and installed in 4 to 6 weeks and it actually took 9. Understand Covid etc issues but we shouldn't have to chase it up. Also slightly concerned that the installer came back to adjust our doors as he had fitted some wrong parts.
We had a great experience with MSD. They measured and installed a new wire security door to our laundry. They were professional thoughout the process and our request for a non standard colour was happily done. The installer was friendly and explained all the features again on the day.

Came out to do a quote, got the quote back within an hour, placed my order and they were out at my house a few weeks later doing the installation. Door looks amazing, is great quality, strong and was well priced :)

Just had my door fitted by John and it looks amazing. From start to finish the process was seamless. Kept up to date of progress and installation date. We have used MSD 4 or 5 times now. Every time has been a pleasant experience. This was no exception. The salesman & the installer were punctual & friendly. Everything was cleaned up. I would use them again if the need arose & I can heartily recommend them.

My new MSD security door is very stylish and fits perfectly with the front yard. It allows more fresh air and light inside the house. I recommend this security door to anyone who wants to have a stylish and safe security door.
I'm not sure Doncaster was the branch because we didn't visit one. The salesperson was good and knew the product. The fitter was friendly and took trouble to make sure front and back fitted correctly. We had to have an aluminium sliding back door and it is certainly not as strong as our old steel one but this was the only option for sliding door now.
I can't recommend MSD Doncaster highly enough. After my initial visit to their showroom I had Chris come out and give me a quote for the Crimsafe Ultimate security door and hinged security panel. I was so impressed with his professionalism that I didn't bother getting any other quotes and told him to go ahead with the work. Approximately 6 weeks later the door and panel were installed and I'm very happy with the high quality of the product.
Purchased security door with custom design for my elderly parents. Fabulous staff, friendly, knowledgeable and we are very happy with our Crimsafe door installation. We were not in a rush, happy to wait the few weeks for delivery and installation. We painted the door in the meantime! Now, we are getting the walls painted. Very happy with the monument grey colour.

We’ve moved house so this is the second time we have used My Security Door Bentleigh. Both times great service, product and installation. We had both security screen doors and window coverings installed.
I ordered new security doors and got very efficient and professional service. Mitchell quoted the job and was very easy to deal with and professional and offered good advice and options. Installer was very good too installed doors in existing holes leaving professional finish. Very happy.
Hello, I was asked to do a review so here are my thoughts on the door install process. Took about 3.5 months from when Initially inquired in September to when it was completed in December, which felt a bit long… I had ordered a door from MSD Bentleigh on my last place which took 3 weeks from quote to install just 1 year ago…..
We had some hiccups with measurements, leading to several visits, and the wait between them was a bit much, I do however understand that the door was in a tricky spot near stairs, however I feel that the follow ups should have been a priority instead of working me around other installs. I felt my concerns weren't quite heard, and although I asked for a better price on the quote as I was a repeat customer, the person I spoke to said I could have $100 off the quotation for coming back to them, but it didn't make it onto the final bill. Also, there was an extra frame added without asking me, adding $136 to the cost I could have removed the door handle that was causing the obstruction which facilitated the need for the frame build out, as it is not actually functional…. On the bright side, the installers were super nice, and I'm happy with the door itself. Not happy with the service from management this time though sorry guys 😑

I’m really happy with the look and quality of my new security doors. The entire process with all MSD points of contact was professional and trouble free - my initial phone query where Dan arranged an onsite quote to happen within days, company owner Greg doing my onsite quote and providing excellent guidance as to the most suitable door styles for my property at a competitive price, email status updates from Carol during the production process and finally fast and friendly installation by Dean. It’s now a couple of months post-installation and my doors look great and are functioning well. Highly recommend!

We visited the Bentleigh store. The quote was arranged and undertaken efficiently and the door installed when scheduled and no fuss. The only thing I would say is that they didn't take away the old door and I needed to cut it up and dispose of it myself. Maybe this could be included in the service
I spent lots of time researching for a steel security door, as one of the final touches to our renovation. MSD had fantastic customer service (Scott in Bentleigh) & were competitively priced, as well as being able to complete the job in a timely fashion. Michael came to measure twice, as I needed him to adjust the rail height. He was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. We were sent updates on the production stages of our door along the way. Michael, is very professional, - He quoted us on our Two Security Doors, matched the security door exactly to the colour of the frame and front door . If I could give less stars I would! The My Security Door website quotes your family motto: keeping your family safe is our family business. This has definitely not been met in our case. Not only has your company left us feeling insecure (no security for three months after one of your workman tried to bend a steel door and broke our door frame), but this has also been exacerbated by zero customer service and lack of empathy from everyone I called trying to get this resolved. It took me calling the ombudsman and taking things further to get our original security doors reinstalled (tried to get us to pay full price after they broke our house, which I was definitely not willing to do after the lack of any empathy).
I can honestly say this is the worst customer service I have received ever! There was ONE person who was amazing and I wish I knew his name to acknowledge him. To the guy who installed our original screen doors at the very end Thank You for being the exception to the rule.

We were concerned because we have a French style single door that opens out from our bedroom and worried that it might be difficult to fix a security door on the inside but it was a non issue for these guys and it looks great. Excellent company, got back to me super fast about my interest in a Crimsafe door. Then Chris was out in only a few days to measure & quote. & it was installed a few weeks later. Communication was the best thing about this company, received automated text messages about the incoming arrival of Chris & Adam & then also when the install date had to change I was contacted immediately & a time was set. Couldn't ask for a better experience, this is how all trades should run their business.

I recently had a security door quote and installation through MSD Ravenhall and the whole experience from start to finish was positive. Great customer service and friendly team members, good prices, and what l appreciated most was the trust in the customer when it comes to payment. MSD didn't ask for a deposit and no payment was required until after the installation was complete. That's not something you see very often these days. I would highly recommend MSD Ravenhall to anyone looking to purchase a new security door.

I can highly recommend MSD Ravenhall. The team recently installed security doors at my place and the whole process from quote to install was easy. The staff were polite friendly and ready to help. I was at work during the install but returned home to find the old doors removed and stored neatly, new doors on, no mess, no cleanup, keys in a safe place and everything back where it should be. I have continiously reached out to MSD regarding my door install. The lock continious to get jammed and does not lock properly. They have sent out technicians but they just advise that it needs lubrication. This was my last resort to leave a review as I want my lock replaced. Its still under warranty but they keep ignoring my concerns.
Security Door for Oversized Pivot Door…it can be done. From measuring day to installation…faultless friendly service delivered when they said they would. Everything was explained clearly from start to finish. Recommend MSD to anyone that requires a little extra security and air flow. Great work MSD to you all.

Crim Safe security door installed to front door and to sliding door. Received a quote over the phone and booked appointment for measure, owner attended to measure and was a pleasure to deal with and gave advice and showed photos of colour options etc. Installation was done in 1.5hrs. Paid the day of install.

I would like to start with their level of consistency. Every time for every job they messed up things. Used their services for 3 jobs for my house and every time when they came for installation product dimensions are different to what they supposed to be so remeasure it again and again , not to mention the extended timeframe due to all this. This morning I was suppose to get crimsafe door for our main door and as expected frame installation was easy part but when it comes to door once again they nailed it with out of frame door. Remeasure it to make sure it's correct next time not to mention the same measurement was done twice before. Best part when called response was we'll look in to it.
Crimsafe connected me with MSD Epping, and the experience was excellent. I received a rough quote over the phone for two Crimsafe Ultra security doors. A friendly representative then visited for a full measurement and quote, even suggesting colors to match the existing door, which I hadn't considered. No deposit was required, and the quote was thoroughly explained before I signed. The price was reasonable.
Although it took a few weeks to get the doors installed due to manufacturing time, the installation process was swift. The installer ensured we tested all the door functions before he left.

I was initially contacted after my measure for a quote and was given a total price. I was advised I did not need to be home, so I did not see what was measured. I automatically assumed the price included the door and the side panel as all photos on social media displayed both doors and side panels covered. I was not offered 2 prices, one with the side panel and one without, hence the assumption it was all inclusive. One would assume that if a company offers a free measure and quote, the side panel would be included, as it is a given that customers would want to have that protected too. It is pointless to have a top of the range security door and not have the side glass panel covered where people can alternatively smash the glass.
I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of communication. The reason I went with my security was due to the reviews and the price assuming it would all be covered.
After installation I contacted the head office and spoke to the receptionist for a lengthy period of time, only to be told to call back because she was training. She advised if I wanted the side panel it would cost half the price of my door, an additional $600.
Had I have known this prior to installation, I definitely would not have gone through my security. Now I’m left with a “top of the Range” security door with the side panel unprotected.

We had our door installed by MSD Epping and have to say we are extremely impressed best quality security door on the market the sales staff are very helpful as we had lots of questions and where not sure which door would suit our purpose. When they came to measure we found our door frame was 16mm out of square so I was a bit worried about the gap’s being consistent as a carpenter myself I was going to fit the door but no, it was part of their service great one less job for me. The guys that came to install the door where very friendly and professional and where done in about 1/2 an hour and the door fitted perfectly.They also didn’t take a deposit and billed us once the door was installed. Overall fantastic service from start to finish
From start to finish. MSD has been great to deal with. The sales guy was insightful and informative but not pushy. The installation of the Crimsafe door was quick and professional. The following installation by John and trainee Kevin for our sliding doors was highly professional, well-mannered and polite. John even noticed our Crimsafe door was not closing as well as it should and advised, that he would look into this before he left. He then, fixed it on his way out! I was going to raise it but was amazed that he saw it and flagged it before I could upon entry to our home. I've had a bunch of other installers in our new home recently to do window furnishings etc... and none of them has provided the level of care and professional service as John. Would highly recommend MSD and say you should request John for the installation.
I recently had 3 Aluminium security doors (diamond shape), as well as one sliding security door (diamond shape) and two sliding fly screen on stacker doors. I paid a bit more to upgrade the insect mesh to TuffScreen Mesh.
All the doors look fantastic and match the house(s) really well.
MSD were very competitively priced, they turned up on time for the measure and also for the install.
Overall really happy with the products and with the service from MSD.

My security door also looks great I chose a black one very happy. The crimesafe installation guy was very friendly and explained how to use the door, very happy and feel very secure in my house. Ray at MSD Geelong was very professional and efficient and quoted for my security door promptly. Installation was seamless and communication overall was excellent.
Purchased a black steel security door in 2019 for approx $1400 & were very happy with it. Approx 12 months ago we noticed rust spots appearing from under paint. We contact MSD & were told it shouldn’t be happening & they would fix it. Door returned to us April las year & appeared to be fixed however after about 6 months noticed rust again appearing through painted surface. When we recontacted asking for assistance we were told by Fabian its not his problem, what do we expect for the age of the door, its probably from animals urinating on it or corroding because of the sea air-we live in Geelong West. Very disappointed as we have attempted to make further contact only to be ignored & had also purchased 3 other crimsafe doors through business prior to this debacle. We will be going elsewhere as well as warning other prospective buyers to do the same. Extremely disappointed.

We got a heritage style steel security door for the front and crimsafe security doors for our french doors at the back. I cannot speak highly enough of the customer service and quality of these products. From discussing different styles in the showroom, measure and quote, and installation the whole process was seamless and very professional. A big shout out to Chris who spent considerable time with us discussing different options when he attended our property for the measure and quote. The sales experience was great - types of doors and their features was explained really well and pricing clear. Made choosing very easy. The measuring was also very good and happened on time. Fitting was also done very well by competent fitter.
However the customer service between measuring and fitting was extremely poor. The first date scheduled for fitting was cancelled on the day fitting was to occur (23/01/23) due to illness. We were then given a new fitting date by phone of 10/02/23. We rang on 9/02 to check if fitting was happening on next day only to be told fitting was never going to happen on 10/02 but scheduled for 23/02/23 - not happy! We asked if an earlier date was possible - not in that persons area of responsibility. Had another phone call a few days later and told 23/02 was the date unless there was a cancellation and we would be given a days notice if that happened - not really an option for us.
Overall, happy with the sales, measuring and fitting but extremely unhappy with the communication and care in between. This area needs a lot of improvement before we could recommend to others.
However the customer service between measuring and fitting was extremely poor. The first date scheduled for fitting was cancelled on the day fitting was to occur (23/01/23) due to illness. We were then given a new fitting date by phone of 10/02/23. We rang on 9/02 to check if fitting was happening on next day only to be told fitting was never going to happen on 10/02 but scheduled for 23/02/23 - not happy! We asked if an earlier date was possible - not in that persons area of responsibility. Had another phone call a few days later and told 23/02 was the date unless there was a cancellation and we would be given a days notice if that happened - not really an option for us.
Overall, happy with the sales, measuring and fitting but extremely unhappy with the communication and care in between. This area needs a lot of improvement before we could recommend to others.

The end-to-end experience was fantastic, from Michael who came on site to measure and quote through to Casey who installed the doors (4 double-doors all up). The quality and workmanship of the doors themselves is great, including the fit and operation. Importantly, MSD Geelong met and exceeded their manufacturing timeframe and met all committed appointments (for measure and installation) - they provided accurate time windows and SMS updates leading up to and on the day. Casey (the installer) was friendly and super efficient - he knew exactly what he was doing and didn't cut corners.

I cannot thank Casey enough for the awesome job he did when installing my doors and side light windows today. He completely explained everything he was doing, cleaned up the little mess and had the job done in record time. He also showed me how poor my old security doors were in comparison. Update based on contact from the Director, Greg. Had a really disappointing phone call from Greg who proceeded to tell me that I had a miss understanding. He then proceeded to address something which I had never requested or raised. I had to explain the whole situation to him again. He had no care for the poor experience, the terrible way I have been treated or the lack of communication. He would not take responsibility for the problem caused or the fact that nothing was explained. He came with nothing new to offer, despite previous conversations committing to this. Further he was rude and dismissive throughout the conversation. I have been told different things from all different staff.
Again, I am left with choosing from the best of 3 bad options. I am now going to consumer affairs as the product is not fit for purpose or delivered as reasonably expected.
It was not worth engaging with this company.

When I raised the issue, I was told that I was shown the frame and should have known. Ridiculous, it was not explained at all. They then ignored the issue and chased payment for the unsatisfactory install - offering no solution.
Finally had someone out to install ‘angles’. He arrived, thought there was a different issue - shows the poor communication. Didn’t have ‘angles’ the right size and agreed that it wasn’t a flush solution. Told me that the manager would be out to discuss a solution. The next day I get a phone call to say that ‘angles’ are the only solution and I should be happy with that ‘because they install 1000s of doors a year and this is the only problem’. Told that no one will be out to discuss a solution because they would not give me another solution.
Poor communication and now I am left with a door that doesn’t look great or they will take the door, leaving holes in my existing frame. Do not bother with them as they do not care for doing a good job, having reasonable communication with clients or across the business.
Correction due to response from business: they have requested payment many times after I raised the issue, whilst they were ignoring the issue. I had to press them to enter into discussion to get this moving.

Great work by the team from explaining the various types of Crimsafe to onsite installation. The doors fit seamlessly into existing frames and provide immediate peace of mind. Prices are competitive with other suppliers and they keep their appointments.
I have a larger, non-standard door that I wanted a security door made for. The door was completed quickly and I am very happy with the look and quality of the door. The installation went smoothly and I was able to get it keyed to my front door lock so no extra keys.

I recently had my security door come out to my mum’s house and change her security door for her. She was really pleased with it and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team who came out they did a wonderful job and they were very kind and patient with my mum as she hadn’t been well. Even though the web response from the Crimsafe web portal for our request was slow, their Brunswick MSD team’s actions - measure and quote, follow up and clear details of what to expect, confirmation of manufacturing

Poor experience with 4 visits until doors were done
First install was aborted as the frame was built too big (despite the drawings they created being correct). 2nd install attempt was aborted again as they manufactured the frame incorrectly and it needed back supports. 3rd install attempt took place however they had only manufactured 3 sides of a 4 side door frame, which left a gap under both doors. 4th visit, the final pieces were installed. Original install was 19 Jan and the final pieces were was almost 2 months later. None of the attendances were prioritised they were just put back in the queue with all other jobs. I had to push for the final install date before I went on holidays. They offered Saturday install, but when I asked for that to take place I was told it would be at least 3 weeks for a Saturday booking. Clearly no prioritisation.
No accountability on managing the issues like any good customer service organisation would have done.
The doors are great but I cannot recommend MSD based on multiple issues. I had to ask for a discount due to the inconveniences there was no real apology or anything offered to me for the inconvenience

Very efficient service from quoting to installation. Provided fantastic information and assistance in determining which door was the best option for us and once manufactured the installation was done in 15 minutes.
Great team and they are flexible with design and installation to meet customer's requirements. Best part was, Craig and team have accommodated a last minute request to change the complete door orientation too.

From start to finish the whole process from ordering our new security door, site measurements and installation was seamless, quality of the door finish is excellent, looks a lovely country styled finish ,matches perfectly to our front of our home, highly recommend this company.
Made gate to accommodate my bluestone cottage that has no square corners or true vertical walls. And customized it so the brass and glass fittings on the front door weren’t hidden. The gate “disappears” so doesn’t detract from the character of the house. Amazing service too.
