In 1996 with advice from the ASSDA (Australian Stainless Steel Development Association), Crimsafe developed their patented high tensile woven stainless steel mesh, gripped by a unique Screw-Clamp™ system that screwed through the mesh and into the frame. The result is the tremendously strong, yet extremely versatile security screen they call Crimsafe Regular.
Tested against Australian standards Crimsafe Regular is proven to out last and out perform the competition. While providing improved energy efficiency for your home, a twelve-year extended warranty and all the security features you would expect from Crimsafe Regular also provides simple clean lines to compliment any home.

Specifically designed to exceed the Australian Standard
The combination of the Crimsafe Screw-Clamp™ technology, which transfers the force of an impact around the frame so the mesh remains intact, and Tensile-Tuff® 304 structural grade stainless steel mesh, makes Crimsafe Regular much more than a security screen.
Tamper resistant stainless steel screws, exclusive to Crimsafe screens, are driven right through the clamp and mesh into the frame on the other side, to give the screen amazing strength. Crimsafe is the only security screen to use mesh screwed into place like this.
Proudly Australian Made, Crimsafe Regular has been specifically designed to exceed the Australian Standard. It has been rigorously tested to withstand a single impact of up to 550 Joules, providing peace of mind that your home and family are protected from unwanted intruders, insects and much more.
Screw-Clamp technology
Tamper resistant stainless steel screws, exclusive to Crimsafe, are driven through the clamp and mesh into the frame on the other side, giving the screen amazing strength.
Superior strength
Crimsafe Regular can withstand force up to 550 Joules of impact*, far exceeding the Australian Standard of five impacts of 100 Joules.
3-Point locking
Locking points relate to the number of secure points where the door locks into the frame. Crimsafe Regular has 3-point locking as standard.
Tensile-Tuff® steel mesh
Tensile-Tuff® 304 structural grade stainless steel mesh used by Crimsafe is 26.5% thicker than typical stainless steel mesh.
Insect protection
