Our experienced and professional installation team takes pride in the quality of our service and product.
Again, I am left with choosing from the best of 3 bad options. I am now going to consumer affairs as the product is not fit for purpose or delivered as reasonably expected.
It was not worth engaging with this company.
Disappointing experience.
Came out for a measure and did not explain that there would be a gap between the door and bricks - around 2cm all the way around.
When I raised the issue, I was told that I was shown the frame and should have known. Ridiculous, it was not explained at all. They then ignored the issue and chased payment for the unsatisfactory install - offering no solution.
Finally had someone out to install ‘angles’. He arrived, thought there was a different issue - shows the poor communication. Didn’t have ‘angles’ the right size and agreed that it wasn’t a flush solution. Told me that the manager would be out to discuss a solution. The next day I get a phone call to say that ‘angles’ are the only solution and I should be happy with that ‘because they install 1000s of doors a year and this is the only problem’. Told that no one will be out to discuss a solution because they would not give me another solution.
Poor communication and now I am left with a door that doesn’t look great or they will take the door, leaving holes in my existing frame. Do not bother with them as they do not care for doing a good job, having reasonable communication with clients or across the business.
Correction due to response from business: they have requested payment many times after I raised the issue, whilst they were ignoring the issue. I had to press them to enter into discussion to get this moving.
progress , delivery , installation & post install response follow up was all professionally handled. We recommend them without any reservations.
First install was aborted as the frame was built too big (despite the drawings they created being correct). 2nd install attempt was aborted again as they manufactured the frame incorrectly and it needed back supports. 3rd install attempt took place however they had only manufactured 3 sides of a 4 side door frame, which left a gap under both doors. 4th visit, the final pieces were installed. Original install was 19 Jan and the final pieces were was almost 2 months later. None of the attendances were prioritised they were just put back in the queue with all other jobs. I had to push for the final install date before I went on holidays. They offered Saturday install, but when I asked for that to take place I was told it would be at least 3 weeks for a Saturday booking. Clearly no prioritisation.
No accountability on managing the issues like any good customer service organisation would have done.
The doors are great but I cannot recommend MSD based on multiple issues. I had to ask for a discount due to the inconveniences there was no real apology or anything offered to me for the inconvenience
The full-length security screens installed look fantastic, actually ADD to the aesthetics of my home, help keep out direct sunrays (so assist with protecting furnishings), all while giving me the peace of mind I needed. Thanks to Crimsafe and all of the Team at Brunswick.
