Purchased a black steel security door in 2019 for approx $1400 & were very happy with it. Approx 12 months ago we noticed rust spots appearing from under paint. We contact MSD & were told it shouldn’t be happening & they would fix it. Door returned to us April las year & appeared to be fixed however after about 6 months noticed rust again appearing through painted surface. When we recontacted asking for assistance we were told by Fabian its not his problem, what do we expect for the age of the door, its probably from animals urinating on it or corroding because of the sea air-we live in Geelong West. Very disappointed as we have attempted to make further contact only to be ignored & had also purchased 3 other crimsafe doors through business prior to this debacle. We will be going elsewhere as well as warning other prospective buyers to do the same. Extremely disappointed.

We got a heritage style steel security door for the front and crimsafe security doors for our french doors at the back. I cannot speak highly enough of the customer service and quality of these products. From discussing different styles in the showroom, measure and quote, and installation the whole process was seamless and very professional. A big shout out to Chris who spent considerable time with us discussing different options when he attended our property for the measure and quote. The sales experience was great - types of doors and their features was explained really well and pricing clear. Made choosing very easy. The measuring was also very good and happened on time. Fitting was also done very well by competent fitter.
However the customer service between measuring and fitting was extremely poor. The first date scheduled for fitting was cancelled on the day fitting was to occur (23/01/23) due to illness. We were then given a new fitting date by phone of 10/02/23. We rang on 9/02 to check if fitting was happening on next day only to be told fitting was never going to happen on 10/02 but scheduled for 23/02/23 - not happy! We asked if an earlier date was possible - not in that persons area of responsibility. Had another phone call a few days later and told 23/02 was the date unless there was a cancellation and we would be given a days notice if that happened - not really an option for us.
Overall, happy with the sales, measuring and fitting but extremely unhappy with the communication and care in between. This area needs a lot of improvement before we could recommend to others.

The end-to-end experience was fantastic, from Michael who came on site to measure and quote through to Casey who installed the doors (4 double-doors all up). The quality and workmanship of the doors themselves is great, including the fit and operation. Importantly, MSD Geelong met and exceeded their manufacturing timeframe and met all committed appointments (for measure and installation) - they provided accurate time windows and SMS updates leading up to and on the day. Casey (the installer) was friendly and super efficient - he knew exactly what he was doing and didn't cut corners.

Overall I would be happy to highly recommend MSD to others.

He completely explained everything he was doing, cleaned up the little mess and had the job done in record time. He also showed me how poor my old security doors were in comparison.
